take THE first step
Who I am: I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and English at the University of Notre Dame and my Master's in Social Work at Loyola University Chicago. My work experience includes roles at a community wellness center, a campus counseling center, and Compass Health Center, where I worked for several years as a Lead Group Therapist while concurrently building my part-time private practice. Since 2020, I've been working in the digital mental health space and quickly found a passion in clinical training and program management. In addition to my current role as Sr. Manager of Clinical Onboarding Programs at Two Chairs, I continue to see a small number of outpatient clients exclusively for teletherapy sessions, offered via a secure online platform.
What I do: I support adults struggling with life changes and transitions, relationship and communication challenges, anxiety, depression, stress, and identity concerns. I also have a special interest and background in helping individuals with career-related concerns, and enjoy keeping my clients accountable and motivated as they discern their employment needs, consider role transitions, and navigate the job search and application process. In addition, I am currently completing specialized training in perinatal mental health, as I am deeply passionate about supporting women in all stages of their parenting journey. How I do it: As a therapist, I strive to be authentic, empathic, and nonjudgmental. My work incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and I operate from a strengths-focused and values-based lens. I'm a firm believer in working with clients to develop treatment objectives that align with their core values, and I'll both support and challenge them on their path to self-discovery. My ultimate goal is to equip my clients with new tools, techniques, and ways of viewing the world and their relationship with it so they may experience healthier, happier, and more fulfilled lives. |
